Meet The Doctors
Douglas MasiDMD, MAGD
Dr. Masi received his undergraduate degree from Seton Hall University in 1974. He graduated Fairleigh Dickinson School of Dentistry in 1978. Upon graduation, he attended a general practice residency at Mountainside Hospital in Montclair, NJ.
Dr. Masi is a member of the American Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry where he has achieved Mastership status, a distinction accomplished by only> 1% of dentists in the country. He is also a member of the prestigious Seattle Study Club. Dr. Masi is strongly committed to continuing his education. He was also a member of the faculty of his dental school serving in the department of prosthodontics.
Dr. Masi is married to his wonderful wife Stephanie, who also works in the office. Together they have 6 children.
While Dentistry is Dr. Masi's main interest, other interests include taking piano lessons, running (he has completed at least 30 marathons and an ultramarathon) and restoring houses. He also enjoys boating and traveling.
It has been his honor and privilege to care for patients for almost 40 years and has never been more passionate about the difference that dentistry can make in a persons life.
Dr. Pieranunzi (commonly referred to as Dr. P) earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Marymount College, Tarrytown NY in 1987. Following graduation, she began her dental studies at Fairleigh Dickinson Dental School graduating in 1990. She advanced her dental education by completing a general dentistry residency program at Waterbury Hospital in Connecticut. Upon completion of that program, she moved to New Jersey to practice family dentistry with her former dental school professor, Dr. Masi, whom she greatly respects and admires. They both share the same gentle, kind spirit when treating their patients. Dr. P is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the Seattle Study Club. These are the two main organizations where she continues to learn the latest trends in dentistry.
Dr. P has a passion for cosmetic dentistry. She also enjoys the opportunity of treating entire families. Children bring her great joy. New Jersey Family magazine just recently selected her as one of their '2016 Favorite Kids Docs'.
Dr. P is married to her husband Kirk; they reside in Flemington with their two wonderful sons Nathaniel and Austin. A few of her favorite interests outside of dentistry include raising her sons, the outdoors, tennis and cooking.
Dr. Cornick grew up in Martinsville, NJ and is a graduate of Bridgewater-Raritan High School. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA in 2012. He went on to complete a Masters in Biomedical Sciences from Rutgers University in 2013 prior to entering Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, MA. Upon graduating from dental school in 2017, he went on to complete a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry with NYU Langone.
Dr. Cornick is a proud member of the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association, the Central Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Seattle Study Club. He has a passion for learning, and his affiliation with these prestigious groups as well as joining Drs. Masi and Pieranunzi will enable him to pursue the latest trends in quality care for his patients.
Dr. Cornick has deep family roots in the profession of dentistry. His father, Dr. Peter, joined his grandfather, Dr. Marty to practice periodontics in nearby Somerville, NJ where the office has existed for over fifty years. His future father-in-law, Dr. Dennis Sherman, practices orthodontics in Milton, MA. Dr. Cornick is engaged to his fiancé, Rachael, and they will be getting married November 2019. He enjoys spending time with his family as well as playing the piano, exercising, eating, and supporting the New Jersey Devils.
